Women don't like skinny or fat men - they like men who are athletic. But obese men are stronger than thin men. It's true that some men are "skinny fat," but statistically speaking more fat goes along with more muscle; attempts to cut fat will also result in lost muscle. If the correlation between bodily attractiveness and strength were really and truly SQRT(.7) = 0.83, men would *never* diet or do cardio - they'd yearn to look like E Honda and score with Chun Lee.
