From which dataset is the 85th percentile 1100 vs 1230?
NLSY97 - 85th percentile is 1230 (tested in 1997-2002 or so)
NLSY79 - 85th percentile is 1100 (tested in 1977-1983 or so)
The SAT obviously changes a lot every few years so is there still data showing that the modern SAT still correlates with IQ?
No, unfortunately. Correlation is probably a little lower due to the higher ceiling.
